Consultancy Service Areas
Past consultancy experience in the development area of People on the Move: Our work in the area of migration, displacement, and mobility has focused on rights-based, inclusive, and participatory communication approaches for people on the move. We have delivered assignments for organisations including UNICEF, Winrock International, Footage Foundation, and UNHCR in contexts of forced displacement, conflict, and cross-border crisis. We have a particular focus on digital engagement, interpersonal communication, and strengthening community-led approaches to accountability and inclusion.

Past consultancy experience in the development area of Health: Our work in the area of health has included strategy development for health communication plans, research on social and behaviour change, evaluation of health campaigns, capacity development and Training of Trainers for health workers, knowledge management for global platforms, and creative production of communication materials including radio, print, and digital resources. We have delivered health-focused assignments for organisations including UNICEF, Internews, and the Collective Service, in countries including South Sudan, Ethiopia, Botswana, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Zimbabwe, Jordan, and Cambodia. We have a particular focus on participatory communication approaches and social norms in health promotion, ensuring that materials and methods are inclusive, locally grounded, and responsive to both emergency and development contexts.

Past consultancy experience in the development area of Gender: Our work in the area of gender has spanned many years and is grounded in a commitment to applying a gender lens across all areas of our programming. We include gender analysis as a cross-cutting principle and work to ensure inclusion, representation, and sensitivity in all activities. Our gender-focused work has included gender-sensitive research, evaluation, training, and communication strategy. We have supported programmes on gender-based violence, masculinities, and improved relationships between genders through SBC (social and behaviour change) and social norms approaches.

Past consultancy experience in the development area of Climate and Environment: Our work in the area of climate and environment has included the development of communication strategies, research and learning outputs, and the integration of climate dimensions into health and social development communication. We have delivered climate-related assignments for organisations including the African Interdisciplinary Climate Change Research Network (AfricaInteract), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and the Diocese of Oxford. We have a particular focus on climate communication for public engagement and adaptation, and bring experience linking environmental sustainability with social and behaviour change approaches.

Past consultancy experience in the development areas of Child Protection and Social Protection: Our work in the area of child protection and social protection has included the development of behaviour change and communication strategies, capacity building of protection-focused personnel, and the design of participatory tools that support safe environments for children and caregivers. We have delivered assignments for organisations including UNICEF and Winrock International in countries such as Zimbabwe, Jordan, Uzbekistan, South Sudan, Botswana, and across Central Asia.
