Health
Our work in the area of health has included strategy development for health communication plans, research on social and behaviour change, evaluation of health campaigns, capacity development and Training of Trainers for health workers, knowledge management for global platforms, and creative production of communication materials including radio, print, and digital resources.
We have delivered health-focused assignments for organisations including UNICEF, Internews, and the Collective Service, in countries including South Sudan, Ethiopia, Botswana, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Zimbabwe, Jordan, and Cambodia. We have a particular focus on participatory communication approaches and social norms in health promotion, ensuring that materials and methods are inclusive, locally grounded, and responsive to both emergency and development contexts.
Services
Strategy: We provide strategic services in health such as the development of SBC-focused health promotion strategies, integration of communication into emergency preparedness plans, and alignment of communication goals with sectoral health priorities across immunisation, nutrition, and disease prevention.
Research: We offer applied research services including SBC landscape reviews, qualitative needs assessments with health providers, and participatory research to support programme design.
Evaluation: We conduct evaluations of health programmes and campaigns using participatory and learning-focused methodologies. This includes end-term evaluations, formative assessments, and case study documentation of RCCE practices.
Capacity: We support capacity strengthening through the design and delivery of training for health workers, facilitators, and government staff. This includes Training of Trainers, national curriculum development, and practical workshops on SBC.
Knowledge Management: We contribute to knowledge generation and sharing by developing operational guidance, learning content, and structured knowledge products.
Creative Production: We design and produce health communication materials including flipcharts, illustrated guides, radio scripts, video animations, and toolkits for frontline workers.
Our Experience
We are experienced in delivering health communication strategies and training that address a wide range of health challenges. We have supported Ministries of Health, UN agencies, and implementing partners with participatory, evidence-based, and inclusive approaches.
