About Us

The C4D company was founded in 2005 by Managing Director Jackie Davies.

The mission of the company is to deliver services to the community of communication for development professionals around the world in order to support and improve the implementation of communcation projects and initiatives within the international development sector.

The C4D Company has four divisions

1.       C4D Network – This company has established a peer network of people working in communication for development, the network has a social networking platform  with over 300 online members to date, and an email list of a further 600. Members include communication professionals within organisations, as well as consultants, academics and other interested people. www.c4d.org

2.       C4D Consulting – The company provides a range of consultancy services in communication for development - with a particular expertise in monitoring and evaluation, strategy and capacity development, particulalry in the communication areas of radio and digital media. www.c4dconsulting.co.uk

3.       C4D Training – The company is developing a range of training and capacity development initiaitves; these include online training and workshop based training. www.c4d.consulting.co.uk/training.

4.       C4D Matching Service – The company offers an experts 'matching' service which is integrated with the other divisions of the company, benefiting from the international network foundation and consultancy expertise. coming soon.

C4D at Cuckoo Lane is off the A4095 (main Witney - Woodstock road) near North Leigh; two miles from Hanborough station (one stop to Oxford, pick-ups available); Bus 242 from Witney/Woodstock, and Bus S11 direct from Oxford.
