The Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism, University of Southern California: has a Graduate Certificate in Entertainment Communication Management and a Graduate Certificate in Health Communication Management which include the following units: Advocacy and Social Change in Entertainment and the Media and Media in Social Services: Design and Evaluation of Campaigns. The Central European University (CEU), Hungary: Run an intensive summer course on media development and democratization designed to help researchers from academia and civil society gain a better understanding of the history, theory, practice, current trends and differing methodologies involved with the monitoring and evaluating of International aid programs and their impact. The Centre for Communication and Social Change, The University of Queensland, Australia: offers a range of postgraduate courses - in coordination with the School of Journalism and Communication - that equips students with the theoretical and practical skills needed to excel in the fast-growing social science field of Communication for Social Change. The Centre for Development Communications, USA:  Training workshops - An organisation specialising in communication for and about development. Acting as a bridge between the private and public sectors, its goal is to apply state of the art communication strategies to address social issues in a cost effective manner. City University, London: Master’s degree, International Communications and Development - This course provides an interdisciplinary framework to understand and critically assess the role of communications for and in development projects. IMA International, training and consulting for development: Monitoring and Evaluating in Development, 10 day residential training course - IMA International has 25 years experience providing training and consultancy expertise to build capacity in development programmes globally. Malmo University, Sweden: Master’s degree in Communication for Development - This web-based master’s course has been running since 2000, providing students from all around the world the ability to learn and share alongside others in places around the world, creating a global network. Management for Development Foundation (MDF), International: Monitoring and evaluation of development intervention - MDF provides global training and consultancy services in the Development sector. The week long training in M&E is a comprehensive and practical approach, teaching you how to apply monitoring and evaluation in projects, programmes and organizations. Ohio University, USA: Master’s degree in Communication & Development - This course stresses the use of communication to promote and support positive social development. The School of Culture and Communication, The University of Melbourne, Australia:  Master of Global Media Communications - this course is primarily aimed at graduates seeking media-related leadership roles in strategic areas of industry, government and civil society organisations. University of Leeds, UK: Master’s degree, Theatre and Development - This MA programme is an interdisciplinary degree taught by staff from The Workshop Theatre and the Centre for Development Studies. University of Stockholm, Sweden: Master’s programme in ICT for Development - The Masters programme in ICT for development at the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences (DSV) will develop your skills and knowledge needed to address these issues in developing countries. In addition to a solid background in computer and systems sciences the programme includes necessary social science courses.
